Pilates Method by BBW Classes are designed to train the body taller, leaner & stronger.

We practice with the six main principles at the fore front of our mind through every session, to achieve perfect form to flow through the movement, to give you longer, leaner lines. Pilates challenges you to take control of your body & mind, by engaging the muscles you never knew you had. Nourishing the body from inside to out.

The classes focus on posture, breath work, muscle strengthening & joint stability. Centring from the powerhouse muscles in the core is an integral part of the practice, it only takes a handful of classes to feel and see the results of improved flexibility, core strength & muscular tone.

Pilates Method by BBW classes place great emphasis on perfecting your technique, to achieve mindful movement to achieve the most from your practice. Building and laying the foundations towards a stronger, leaner you.

ABOUT

Created by Hayley Brew-Butler, Pilates Method by BBW came from Hayley discovering Pilates several years ago and instantly falling in love with the method. She found it complimented her running practice perfectly as she was looking for something to work on greater flexibility and leaner muscle, as well as how much happier and healthier she would feel after every class.

Hayley wanted to share her love for Pilates so trained as a level 3 Pilates Mat instructor.

Hayley pride’s herself in really focusing in on her client’s technique, so they can move through the movement correctly, meanwhile constantly challenging them to feel the true Pilates burn.

  • Hayley wants her classes to be enjoyable & energizing, so design’s her routines with these principles at the fore front of her mind.

    After having her little girl, Hayley realised more than ever how important it is as a new mum to be strong physically as well as mentally to face all that life throws at you. This began Hayley’s interest and passion for Pre and Postnatal Pilates which she holds a Level 3 qualification in.

    From there BBW Pilates Pre & Post Natal courses have grown into an amazing community of like-minded mummy’s looking to keep up their strength & endurance pre & post birth. Hayley is looking forward to growing the BBW Pilates community and sharing her passion for the method one client at a time.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Private sessions offer a more personalised approach, to really hone in on the key areas you wish to work on. A bespoke routine is designed for your body to give you the results you’re looking for.

Whether you’re looking for greater core strength, reduced lower back pain, greater joint mobility or simply want to train in private. We can work on a routine that fits your needs at a time that suits you. Private sessions can be booked at the Heaton Moor Location, or alternatively home visits can be scheduled. Areas covered for home visits include Cheshire & Manchester.

Private sessions can also be arranged via ZOOM, meaning your Pilates movement can happen no matter where in the world. Corporate packages are available, with several options including one off workshops, monthly or weekly sessions, to be taken at the office, or the studio space in Heaton Moor.

PRE & POST NATAL

Pilates Method by BBW Pre and post-natal courses offer tailored courses suitable for Mums to be & New Mum’s.

The benefits of exercising during and post birth are endless. Just some examples include, reducing high blood pressure, improving mood, reducing lower back pain as well as improved digestion and core stability.

The courses include practice on breath work, posture, and pelvic floor. As well as appropriate strength and endurance Pilates movement to activate the muscles to keep you strong pre & post birth.

Safe spaces for Mummy’s to practice Pilates safely & effectively.

The courses are also a wonderful place to meet & connect with like-minded mums in your area. Please Note regarding the Mummy & Baby Course - All babies up to crawling age are welcome to the Mummy & Baby Courses.  There are bouncers, playmats and toys to keep little one comfy. But feel free to bring pram / car seat or anything else along for baby.
